"Radiant Reactive Power" is the term John C. Bedini uses in the source archive Bedini dossier for what he says his devices actually produce, as distinct from the "back EMF" language of his patents.
His description: high-voltage spikes that have no current associated with them. He states that "voltage without current is the nature of Radiant Energy," and that these spikes charge batteries but do not register as watts on ordinary power meters. This is the basis for his claim that the machines are not over-unity in any measurable sense — "the machine is not over unity in any way"; "There is NO free electricity produced in these systems."
The concept is important to the dossier because it explains the internal tension between the patents' Back-EMF Motor-Generator Claim framing and the inventor's own disclaimers. If the effect is genuinely unmeterable by ordinary instruments, then ordinary power measurements cannot confirm or refute it, and only a full energy balance could — which the dossier never provides.
