- A stated contact time and water conditions (pH, temperature, competing demand).
- A measured microbial reduction against a named organism, with a method and a limit of detection.
- A comparison against an established treatment under the same conditions.
- A safety assessment for the residual silver concentration in water intended for use or consumption.
