Marvin Antelman is a chemist and inventor, and the sole named inventor across the entire tetrasilver tetroxide patent family collected in the source archive TSTO dossier. He is the author of Encyclopedia of Chemical Electrode Potentials (Plenum, 1982) and of the 1992 Precious Metals paper "Anti-Pathogenic Silver Molecular Semiconductors" (16:141–149), in which he describes modifying the Hammer & Kleinberg preparation of silver oxide to produce what he calls molecular crystal devices.

Framing and claims
Antelman's central framing is that Ag₄O₄ crystals are Molecular Crystal Device (Electron Jumping Compound) "molecular batteries" that electrocute pathogens when activated by an oxidizing agent. He coined the term Electron Jumping Compounds (EJC) for compounds that covalently bond to a target, release electrical energy through redox, and release singlet oxygen. He proposed a "power flux" metric and an oligodynamic ordering he called the "Horsfal series" (conventionally the Horsfall series): Ag₄O₄ > Ag(III) > Ag(II) >> Ag(I).
His most contested claim is that a single intravenous injection of Ag₄O₄ at about 40 PPM "will completely obliterate acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) in humans." The dossier presents this as the origin of the "controversy" around TSTO. No clinical trial data, patient outcomes, or independent replication are reported in the source.
