Claus Wilhelm Turtur

Claus Wilhelm Turtur is the author of a viXra paper (1109.0022v1) on the zero-point energy of the electromagnetic quantum vacuum, an excerpt of which appears in the dossier's reception layer. He attempted a reproduction of the Magnetstromapparat.

Claims

Turtur states that both Coler engines had an efficiency factor of more than 100% (compared to classical energy conversion), that the Stromzeuger needed some input power while the Magnetstromapparat worked completely without any energy supply, and that Coler brought his engines to the Universities of Berlin, München, Trondheim and Kopenhagen, where all tests reportedly came to the result that the engines brought more output power than input.

His own reproduction

After extensive adjustment, Turtur obtained a reproducible machine power of about 25 mW. The output was AC, not the DC Coler described. Fourier analysis showed a wide frequency band with strong contributions from local radio transmitters, and a shielded room produced no serious signal. Turtur could not determine the functioning principle and cancelled the analysis.

Assessment in the source

Turtur's own results are ambiguous and, on the dossier's account, point toward radio-frequency harvesting rather than a novel energy source. His AC output contradicts Coler's DC claim. The shielded-room null result could indicate zero-point shielding or simply radio-frequency exclusion; the dossier does not resolve this. See comparison-coler-claims-vs-evidence.
