Bone-02 (also written "Bone 02") is an injectable medical adhesive described in the source archive Bone Glue dossier. It is presented in press coverage as a bio-glue that bonds shattered bone fragments in two to three minutes, including in blood-rich environments, and that could replace metal plates and screws in some fracture surgeries.

The press material also states that Bone-02 can be naturally absorbed by the body as the bone heals, eliminating a second surgery to remove implants. No composition or degradation data is given in the dossier.
Team and origin
The team leader is named as Lin Xianfeng, an associate chief orthopedic surgeon at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, affiliated with Zhejiang University. The inspiration is attributed to observing oysters clinging to a bridge underwater. The scientific antecedent cited is the 2010 JACS characterization of oyster cement by Burkett et al. — see Oyster Cement.
Evidence status
The performance numbers are secondhand and unsourced to any study design, sample size, control group, animal model or clinical trial registration. The "one trial case" is a single anecdote. The absorption claim is asserted, not demonstrated. The dossier does not state that Bone-02 is covered by any of the eighteen patents it collects.
