"Earth cardioid asymmetry" is the prediction, in N. A. Kozyrev's September 1967 paper, that the Earth's rotation combined with the time-pattern force produces a cardioid-shaped asymmetry, a northward force at the surface, and a latitude at which the "forces of time" vanish.
Reported quantities
- Earth-rotation force: ΔQ/Q = 2.8 × 10⁻⁵ at Pulkovo.
- Horizontal component: ΔQs/Q = 1.6 × 10⁻⁵ at l = 3.2 m (Δl = 0.052 mm).
- Latitude relation: tan L = 1.75, stated to match Pulkovo's latitude.
- Claimed zero-force parallel at L = 73°05′.
- Extrapolated pole value ΔQ/Q = 6.5 × 10⁻⁵, implying u′ ≈ 45 m/sec.
- Asymmetry coefficient defined as
n = (b_S − b_N)/2a(Eq. 10). - Planetary asymmetry: Jupiter n = +3 × 10⁻³ ± 0.6 × 10⁻³; Saturn n = 7 × 10⁻³ ± 3 × 10⁻³; terrestrial Δg/g ≈ 3 × 10⁻⁵.
- The latitude agreement was reportedly reproduced at the higher-latitude site of Kirovsk.
Assessment
The planetary asymmetry figures derive from Kozyrev's own photographic measurements (with D. O. Mokhnach for Jupiter) and his 1950 paper in Doklady Ak. Nauk SSSR. The terrestrial figures derive from his balance experiments. No independent measurement is reported. See Kozyrev Claims vs. Evidence.
