- For every integer N ≥ 1, C_{N+1} is a left-handed cycloid in the curved reference frame of C_N.
The activation process circulates the fluid through the treatment unit using compressed gas at a pressure of 1–8 bar. The patent also claims four uses:
- Desalinating and purifying water.
- Treating fumes.
- Activating glass by heating it to 850–1800 °C (preferably 900–1000 °C) and immersing it in the activated fluid.
- Activating metals, ceramics, hard plastics and terracotta by immersing the material in the activated fluid and cooling it below −40 °C (preferably −80 °C) for at least 1 hour.

The geometry: recursive left-handed cycloids
The patent's distinctive element is the pipe shape. A cycloid is the curve traced by a point on a circle as the circle rolls along a straight line and turns around that line. The dossier distinguishes three cases: the stringent (ordinary) cycloid, where the tracing point lies on the circle; the lengthened cycloid, where the point is farther from the centre than the radius; and the shortened cycloid, where it is closer.
The recursive construction stacks these curves. C₁ is a left-handed cycloid in a flat frame. C₂ is a left-handed cycloid drawn in the curved frame that C₁ itself defines, and each further step repeats the operation on the frame left by the previous curve. The inventor reports that the effectiveness of the effect varies with N, and that activation is maximum for a C₃ conduit — a lengthened left cycloid C₃ wound around a lengthened left cycloid C₂, itself wound around a lengthened left cycloid C₁. The preferred embodiment uses elongated left cycloids for the final curve.
The dossier also states that the compressed-air supply lines can themselves be shaped as C_N curves, on the reasoning that the air used to move the fluid is itself activated and thereby reinforces the effect.
Materials and applied fields
Two further design elements appear in the description:
- Alloy conduits. The inventor reports that activation "persists and is stabilized" even when the fluid stops circulating, provided the conduits are made from particular alloys. The suggested alloy combines a base metal chosen from copper, chromium, iron, cobalt and nickel with heavier metals added in very small weight fractions. Copper is preferred as the base, with the heavier constituents taken from elements of atomic number Z = 38–45 or from the rare earths.
- Applied fields. In another embodiment, a main polygonal geometric form is combined with additional, preferably simpler forms, and an electric, electromagnetic or magnetic field is applied. The forms are preferably set inside a geometric volume that may be moulded from insulating material around them.
The description contains an internal tension worth noting. It states that without an applied field the effects are "relatively not very exploitable," and that applying at least one of the fields increases the intensity of the effects, especially at higher field strength. Yet the patent's central claim is activation by form alone, with the field presented as an intensifier rather than a requirement.

The fuel claim is stated as a report: at a high tension of approximately 45 kV, roughly 30% less coal was used to obtain the same thermal energy, with the reduction said to grow as the applied positive potential rises. For gasoline explosion motors, a consumption reduction of approximately 50% is reported relative to operation without the apparatus under the same conditions.
The solubility claim describes experiments with dehydrated sodium chloride, varying the water temperature in increments of 10 °C from 10 °C to 100 °C, with the starting water twice distilled at above-normal atmospheric pressure. The solubility coefficient of sodium chloride is reported to be multiplied by about 2.1 to 2.3 at a positive potential of approximately 45 kV. The dossier appends a bracketed note pointing toward solar ponds.
The plant claim states that growth speed and size increase appreciably, varying by plant, with an increase factor of at least 2 and up to 10 in certain cases. The catalyst claim is qualitative: a catalyst normally required in a chemical reaction may be partially or completely removed.

The stated object is to differ strongly from prior apparatus by not concentrating or eliminating fluids by density, but instead acting through centripetal swirls produced by the precise forms of the process modules.

The dossier's evidential basis is thin in a specific, identifiable way:
- No independent replication is reported. The effects are inventor-reported or patent-stated.
- No measurement methodology is given for the fuel, solubility, growth or catalyst figures — no instrument descriptions, baselines, sample sizes or statistical treatment.
- No controls are described. The gasoline comparison is stated as "same conditions without the apparatus," but the conditions themselves are not specified.
- The claimed effects span unrelated domains — combustion efficiency, aqueous solubility, plant physiology and catalysis — without a unifying measured mechanism. The stated mechanism, centripetal swirls from precise forms, does not by itself explain why the same device would alter all four.
- The persistence claim is unsupported. That activation "persists and is stabilized" in particular alloys is asserted without supporting data.
- The "activator" label is dossier framing. The term describes how the material is presented, not an established scientific category. The patent's own language is "activation," defined in the description as treatments that modify certain physical and chemical properties of fluids and solids.
A patent filing is a legal instrument. Its claims define a monopoly boundary; they are not evidence that the described device produces the described effects. The dossier should be read as a record of what Ravatin filed and reported, not as a demonstration.
