The source archive Kozyrev dossier carries a single image asset, kozyrev1.gif. The same asset appears in both the prior capture (Kozyrev's Causal Mechanics: The source archive Text-and-Figure Capture (Provisional Record)) and the variant capture recorded at Kozyrev's Causal Mechanics: A Variant source Capture (50f7c899bde8e05c), which is consistent with the two files being captures of the same page family — one page rather than two distinct documents.

What the asset is
kozyrev1.gif is the only figure associated with the dossier.
The source page supplies an explicit caption for it, and that caption is the name "N.A.Kozyrev". On the direct evidence of the caption, the figure is a portrait of Nikolai Kozyrev rather than an apparatus diagram or a plotted result.
This corrects an earlier reading of the asset. A prior draft inferred from the physics_devices classification of the capture that the figure was "most plausibly a diagram of an apparatus or a plotted result rather than a photograph". That inference is not supported by the source: the caption is a personal name, and the classification tag is a category label applied to the capture, not a description of the image. The honest position is that the caption identifies the subject of the image; the retrieved source text does not describe the image's visual content further.
A separate visual check of the related asset [source note 5] — a black-and-white portrait of a man, identified by the source as Kozyrev — converges with the caption evidence. That observation documents identity and biographical presentation only. It is not an experimental result, an apparatus photograph, or proof of any time-related claim.
Position in the page
The figure sits between the bibliography and the opening of Kozyrev's September 1967 paper Possibility of Experimental Study of the Properties of Time, in its Joint Publications Research Service translation (JPRS #45238, Arlington VA, 2 May 1968). Its placement is that of a portrait heading the reprinted paper rather than an illustration attached to a specific measurement or apparatus description.
The bibliography immediately preceding the figure lists Kozyrev's Selected Works (Leningrad State Univ., 1991), the 1980 Kozyrev–Nasonov paper on time properties, and the 2005 Progress in Physics article on stellar energy, among other items.
What the figure does not establish
The portrait is a biographical presentation. It does not measure, demonstrate or illustrate any physical effect, and it should not be read as evidence for the claims made in the surrounding dossier text.
Those surrounding claims are attributed, not established. The dossier text describes a "decreased density of time" near a process, screened to some extent by solids and liquids and reflected from metallic mirrors so that the effect can be focused with a parabolic mirror; it reports that N.A.Kozyrev interpreted certain results as a possibility of using the physical properties of time for communication with the past and future along light cones; and it reports signals received from the true (present-day) and future positions of stars. These are Kozyrev's interpretations and the secondary commentator's reports, not verified results, and none of them attaches to the portrait figure.
One evidence window asserts that "the scientific literature does not contain any information on experimental studies ruling out N.A.Kozyrev's results." That is the commentator's assertion, qualified by the commentator's own admission of possible unawareness. It is not a verified absence, and this article does not treat it as one.
Attribution boundary
Other figures in the broad source dossier originate in separately identified Kaznacheev material and must not be attributed to the 1967 Kozyrev paper. The Kaznacheev page (kaznachv/kaznachv.htm) is a separate dossier from the kozyrev2/ page family discussed here.
Limitations
The retrieved source passages do not describe the image's visual content beyond the caption. The caption is sufficient to identify the subject as Kozyrev; it is not sufficient to describe the photograph itself. Any further interpretation should be checked against the original page rather than inferred from the capture or from a category tag.
