CuMnAs

CuMnAs is a PT-symmetric antiferromagnet used in the source digest to illustrate the intrinsic gyrotropic magnetic current of orbital origin. In the work by Koushik Ghorai, Sankar Sarkar and Amit Agarwal (arXiv:2601.04787), the intrinsic Gyrotropic Magnetic Effect (GME) current is shown to reverse sign upon Néel vector reversal, establishing it as a direct probe of antiferromagnetic order in CuMnAs and other PT-symmetric antiferromagnets.

The result is presented as the orbital counterpart of the previously identified spin-driven magnetic displacement current, derived from a density-matrix formulation incorporating minimal coupling and spin-Zeeman interactions.
