Inverse First-Power Distance Law (Kozyrev)

The inverse first-power distance law is the claimed falloff of the causal-pole effect reported in N. A. Kozyrev's September 1967 paper. Kozyrev states that the effect of a causal dipole falls off as the inverse first power of distance, in contrast to the inverse-square falloff of ordinary force fields.

Reported observations

  • The effect was reportedly sensed at 2–3 m from the source.
  • For the asymmetric torsion balance, the optimal test distance was about 5 m, with the effect observable to 10–20 m.
  • The effect was not shielded by a thick laboratory wall.

Assessment
