"Hagen" (given as I. G. Hagen in the bibliography) is cited in N. A. Kozyrev's September 1967 paper for an Atwood-machine experiment performed at the Vatican, published as "The Earth's Rotation: Its Ancient & Modern Mechanical Proofs," Sp. Astr. Vaticana Second App., Rome, 1912 (bibliography entry 7).
Kozyrev reports that Hagen obtained a null result for the southward deflection of falling bodies, and argues that this does not refute the time-pattern effect because on an Atwood machine the southward deflection should be reduced roughly 25-fold. See Southward Deflection of Falling Bodies.
